I-90 between Billings-Exit 452 and Wyoming State Line

Road Conditions:

Road conditions as of 3:45 PM MST on Friday, February 15 are as follows: scattered snow and ice with the following exceptions - blocked lanes between 3.50 miles east of West Arrow Creek Road-Exit 469 and Junction Montana 47-Hardin-Exit 495 and wet between 3.25 miles east of Garryowen-Exit 514 and Wyoming State Line. Actual road conditions may vary from this report. Motorists are cautioned to be alert to changing conditions.


The following construction projects are in effect: overlaying between Junction US 87 North-Billings-Exit 452 and 0.25 mile west of Junction Interstate 94-Exit 456 and miscellaneous maintenance and guardrail work between 4.50 miles west and 1.50 miles west of Junction Montana Secondary 463-Lodge Grass-Exit 530 including delays up to 10 minutes and reduced speed limited to 45 MPH (travelers can expect single lane closures and single lane traffic).


Rest areas along this highway segment are: closed eastbound at 2.25 miles west of Fly Creek Road-Exit 478 and closed westbound at 2.25 miles west of Fly Creek Road-Exit 478.


The forecast until 10:00 PM MST on Friday, February 15: Skies will be mostly clear becoming mostly cloudy. Visibility will be five miles in haze. There will be widely scattered very light snow. Winds will be 9 mph gusting to 20 mph from the south-southeast becoming calm. Temperatures will range from 24 to 30 F changing to 15 to 27 F.
